A clear responsibility model
The producer owns and controls their records. A Ruralia Network receives only information, responses, or aggregate signals the producer has authorized for a specific purpose. Ruralia processes the information needed to provide and protect the service.
Producer
Decides what to record, what to share, and which Networks to join.
Network
Does not receive general access to private conversations, phone numbers, or records.
Ruralia
Operates the product with access controls and data separation.
Storage and protection
Ruralia runs and stores data on Google Cloud infrastructure. Connections use HTTPS/TLS where applicable. Managed Google Cloud services encrypt stored data at rest. We use access controls, secret management, and operational logs to limit access to people and systems that need it. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security; do not send passwords, bank information, or secrets by chat.
Telegram and conversations
Chats with Telegram bots are not end-to-end encrypted. Telegram delivers the messages needed to operate the conversation, and Ruralia processes them to respond and provide the functions you request. Do not send highly sensitive data, passwords, or banking information.
Export, deletion, and backups
You can request an export or deletion of your account and records at hello@ruralia.io. Backups are retained for a limited recovery period and are removed through their normal retention cycle.
Separation between Ruralia Networks
Each Network is a separate scope. An organization is limited to its own network, enrolled members, and defined purposes. Producers can join several Networks without one organization automatically seeing another’s membership or activity.
What an organization may receive
An organization may receive aggregate signals, survey responses, expressions of interest, voluntarily published information, or data the producer authorizes for a program. Sponsoring Ruralia Premium does not give additional access to producer data.
When leaving a Network
When you leave a network, you keep your account and records, but Premium access sponsored by that network ends. Continued paid access will require an individual purchase or another eligible sponsor. The capabilities remaining available after the trial have yet to be defined.
