Summary. This policy covers Ruralia’s Telegram bot, public website and Ruralia Networks Console: what personal data we receive, how we use and protect it, who can access it, and how you can exercise your rights. We do not sell personal data or expose private producer conversations to organizations by default.
1. Controller and scope
Ruralia is operated by Minibota Labs LLC. This Policy explains how we process personal data when you use the bot, website, Premium, or Ruralia Networks. Contact us at hello@ruralia.io.
2. Data we process
Producer records and Telegram
Depending on your use, we may process Telegram identifiers and profile information; messages and button responses; rural profile, farm, crop, financial, production, observation, reminder, and preference data you provide; optional location; files, voice notes, and photos; subscription and transaction status, payment references, receipts, and billing details where applicable; and technical logs needed for reliability and security.
Accounts and sign-in
The Ruralia Networks Console is the web application for organization teams managing their producer networks. You can authenticate with Google or an email and password through Google Identity Platform (Firebase Authentication). This account is separate from a producer’s Telegram account.
If you choose “Continue with Google”, Google shares your email address, email verification status, account identifier and available basic profile information, such as your name and profile picture, with our authentication service. Google handles your Google password; Ruralia does not receive it. This sign-in does not request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts or calendars.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use data to provide records, responses, summaries, reminders, language and time-zone settings, customer support, paid plans, payment and subscription management, receipts, tax obligations, security, fraud prevention, and service improvement. Where required, we rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations, or your consent.
We use your verified email address and authentication identifier to identify your account, match team invitations, establish a session and enforce your role in each Network. We also process membership roles, invitation status and access logs to administer teams, prevent unauthorized access and investigate incidents. Signing in alone does not give you access to any Network.
4. AI and service providers
Messages, AI and other providers
Ruralia may use Google Gemini to interpret messages or transcribe voice notes. We send the content necessary for the request with technical instructions. We may use Telegram, Google Cloud, Open-Meteo, Frankfurter, and carefully selected operational providers. Each receives only what is needed for its role and may have its own terms.
Paddle processes annual individual Ruralia Premium subscriptions and Ruralia Networks subscriptions. Ruralia Networks is billed at US$3 per month for each affiliated producer. A future monthly individual option may be offered through Telegram Stars within Telegram. Depending on the service subscribed to, we process and share with the relevant provider the account, billing and transaction information necessary to manage payments and subscriptions, issue receipts and meet tax obligations. Paddle and Telegram process payment information under their own terms and privacy policies.
AI interpretations may be incorrect; you review and confirm proposed records before they are saved. The optional farm location can be sent to Open-Meteo for weather information; Frankfurter provides exchange-rate information for currency conversions.
Authentication and hosting
Google Identity Platform processes authentication information and maintains the authentication account. Ruralia stores the operator’s email address and authentication identifier, Network permissions, invitations and audit records in its database on Google Cloud. The Console uses session and security cookies to keep you signed in and protect requests.
Google provides authentication and hosting services. We do not sell Google account information, use it for advertising or send it to Gemini to interpret farm messages. Signing in with Google does not share your Google profile with producers through Telegram.
The public website stores your language preference in your browser. Fonts and interface resources loaded from third-party providers may transmit technical connection data to those providers. The website does not use its own behavioral advertising.
5. Ruralia Networks
Networks do not receive phone numbers, usernames, private conversations, or general record access by default. They may receive aggregate signals, survey responses, interest, or information you authorize for a stated program purpose. You may join or leave Networks voluntarily. Sponsoring Premium does not expand an organization’s data access.
Organization teams
Authorized team administrators can see team email addresses, roles and invitation status for their Network. Access is scoped to each Network; an account in one Network does not grant access to another.
6. International transfers and security
Providers may process data outside your country. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls and managed secrets. Data is processed on Google Cloud infrastructure; connections use HTTPS/TLS where applicable and managed storage uses encryption at rest. No online service is completely secure.
These safeguards also apply to Google account information: access is limited by Network and role, session cookies protect signed-in requests, and authentication is handled by Google Identity Platform.
7. Retention, backups, and deletion
We retain personal data, including Google authentication accounts, associated operator data and payment records, while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, investigate security incidents, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Backups may retain data for a limited recovery period.
Removing Network access prevents access to that Network but does not automatically delete your account or previous audit records.
8. Your choices
You can request access, correction, export, restriction, objection or deletion at hello@ruralia.io; we may request minimal information to verify your request.
You can manage Network membership and certain reminders in the bot. You can withdraw consent where processing depends on it, without affecting earlier processing. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority where applicable.
You can revoke Ruralia’s Google connection in your Google Account’s third-party connections settings. Revoking that connection is separate from deleting your Ruralia account. To request access, correction, export or deletion of your authentication account and associated Ruralia data, email hello@ruralia.io. We verify your identity before acting and explain any data that must be retained for security or legal reasons.
9. Children, changes, and contact
Ruralia is not intended for people under 18. We may update this Policy and will post the updated date. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@ruralia.io.
